Editorial Policy
Papers regarding chaos theory, with a view to new applications, and
papers regarding applications in any field are published.
The following categories of papers are accepted:
- Overview papers (generally, accepted only as invited papers)
- Regular papers (generally limited to 20 000 words)
- Short communications (limited to 6 000 words)
- Letters to the Editor (generally limited to 1 000 words)
Moreover, reports on recent inventions, new circuits, book reviews,
announcements of scientific events, information on research groups and
on interesting software products are published.
Every paper should answer to the questions: which is the relevant application?
how realistic is it? how the presented solution contrasts to classic solutions
in the field of that application? how the presented explanation and modeling
of phenomena in the framework of nonlinear chaotic phenomena improves understanding
and possible applications?
All papers are reviewed by at least five independent referees. To be
published, an applicative paper has to have the approval of at least one
referee from industry, applied research, or other company (for instance:
hospital, bank, applied research institute, etc.).
Special issues on applications to specific fields are published.
